Career and technical and student organization activities were also reported: FCCLA members advanced from district star events with four students moving on to the state competition after placings, and FFA members and 4-H students exhibited at local livestock shows; the principal said several students performed well in contests. The principal listed a number of upcoming events: group picture day (Feb. 11), Valentine parties (Feb. 13 at 2:30 p.m.), a preschool screening (Feb. 20) and a fifth- and sixth-grade trip to a history museum on Feb. 26.
The principal closed by noting the school had begun a four-day school week and thanked staff and students for their efforts.
