Staff member told the board the Doris Stackpole Foundation financed a second CPR class for district staff that will be led by Mr. Batorf in partnership with Saint Mary's Ambulance. "With the financial support of the Doris Stackpole Foundation and in collaboration with the Saint Mary's Ambulance, Mr. Batorf will be leading our second CPR class for our staff," Staff member said.
The presenter corrected an earlier verbal reference and identified the funder as the Doris Stackpole Foundation. Staff member said the new training will result in nearly 50 certified staff members, not including nurses, and that every school building and the district office will be represented among those certified. "Following that training, we will have nearly 50 CPR certified staff that do not include our nurses," Staff member said.
The announcement was informational. Staff said the district expects broad staff coverage across buildings after the training; no contract or formal vote on the training was recorded at the meeting.
