Superintendent Carnegie told the board that RSM has sent a final recommended scope of work for two district audits: an instructional materials procurement audit and a cybersecurity review.
Carnegie said he had forwarded the scope to Mr. Ward and asked board members to review and provide feedback. "They'll be happy to meet with each board member, individually or collectively if you want them to come back to review those two items," he said, adding the district intends to begin an instructional materials audit the board previously requested.
Carnegie asked board members to submit individual feedback so staff and RSM could incorporate the board's thinking before presenting recommendations in a workshop or other forum. No vote was taken; the superintendent said follow-up will include targeted meetings with RSM and subsequent board discussion before procurement or other actions.
