A motion to confirm the travel was made by Miss Cunningham and seconded by Doctor Luke. After a brief offer by Cunningham to provide materials to take to the legislature, the board voted to confirm the travel. The chair's attendance was approved by a recorded voice vote described in the meeting as "Aye" and noted in the minutes as passing 5-0.
No public speakers addressed the item during the required comment period, and the board did not attach conditions or additional directions to the travel confirmation.
