The Oklahoma County Planning Commission on Feb. 20 voted to recommend rezoning case Z-2025-01, changing a parcel from R2 Rural Residential to Commercial General so the property can be used for RV sales and maintenance.
Eric, a county planning staff member, said the parcel is located along "Southeast 20 Ninth on the East Side of Haney Road" on the north side of the road and that the surrounding area has shifted toward commercial and industrial uses in recent years. He said the applicant intends to use the site for "RV sales and maintenance of RVs" and that the standard permitting and drainage review would follow if the rezoning is approved.
Keaton Lebeth, who identified himself with an address in Blanchard and indicated ownership of the property, confirmed the proposed use: "Sales and service," he said when asked whether the same building would house both functions.
Eric said staff received no written protests and no callers in opposition. Commissioners approved the rezoning on a roll-call vote; the matter will proceed to the Board of County Commissioners for final action. Eric told the meeting that permitting, drainage calculations and other construction reviews will occur after a final rezoning decision.
