Mayor announces appointment of Patrol Officer Travis Pidcock to Police Pension Fund Board

Mayor Sherry Alcopello told the council that Patrol Officer Travis Pidcock has been appointed to the Lebanon Police Pension Fund Board to fill the unexpired term of Sergeant Steve Board, effective Jan. 23, 2025. The mayor said the term expires Jan. 5, 2026.
Alcopello described the pension board as composed of the mayor (chair), three police officers and three city residents and said the board oversees pension calculations, approvals and audits. She said Pidcock has been with the department two years since transferring from another department, is a member of bike patrol, is CISM‑certified (critical incident stress management) and was recently named patrol officer of the year by the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).

Alcopello thanked outgoing Sergeant Steve Board for more than 38 years of service to the Lebanon Police Department.
