Lawndale board approves agenda, minutes and multiple consent and action items unanimously

The Lawndale Elementary School District Board of Trustees on Feb. 20 approved its agenda (as amended), the minutes of the Feb. 6 meeting and a set of consent and superintendent/SELPA action items. All recorded motions in open session carried by a 5‑0 vote.

Why it matters: The approvals clear routine business and allow staff to proceed with contracts, personnel ratifications and program actions included on the consent and action calendars.

Roll call and attendance recorded President Bonnie Coronado, Clerk Shirley Rudolph, Trustees Kathy Burris, Anne Phillips and Eddie Morales; several cabinet members including Superintendent Virginia Castro and assistant superintendents were present. Trustee Morales left the meeting after making brief remarks but had participated in the recorded votes above.
