The council also recognized the finance team for receiving the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the city’s Feb. 2024 budget, renewed a lease with Wyatt's at Broken Tea to continue food and beverage services at the golf course, and approved a contract for the final design of the Union Avenue rehabilitation project.
