Cantu said he worked full time at a local cafe and that the landlord willing to rent to him has a connection to his paycheck process.
Captain Oberman summarized the police complaint for the board and said the victim described the incident as not consensual; the captain also confirmed Cantu completed treatment while incarcerated. Cantu told the board he completed SOT and Thinking for Change programs during incarceration and reported he lived in a transitional living program for several months following release.
A member moved to approve the address-specific placement; the motion was seconded and carried by the members present. The board approved Cantu to reside at 25 Trojan Drive, Apartment 204, and reminded him he must return for board approval if he moves from that address.
