The policy codes recorded in the meeting packet and approved were: ADC, ATF, ECAC, EEGAEC, JICC, EEAEC R‑1, EEAEC R‑2, JICC R‑2, JI, JICFA, JJ, JJIC, JK, JIC, JICA, JICI, JKAA and JICFB. The motion to approve the second-reading package was moved and seconded in open session and passed by unanimous roll-call vote.
Gifts and minutes: The committee voted to accept several gifts and field-trip support items for district schools and programs, including items for Hemingway and Brophy (interpretation system, funds for dance programming, sensory paths, museum visits, author visits, and family support items). It also approved the open-session minutes of Dec. 18, 2024. Both votes passed unanimously.
Referral to policy subcommittee: The committee voted to refer Title IX policy revisions, prompted by recent court decisions, and a proposed change to GDD (support staff vacations and holidays for non‑bargaining employees) to the policy subcommittee for review. The referral was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
