The Agriculture & Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee convened at the House office building for a brief session and then proceeded to a scheduled tour of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Missy, the staff member who called the roll, recorded a quorum.
A quorum being present, Chair Esposito said, “we'll go ahead and get started,” and directed members to proceed to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the tour. Members were instructed to use the North loading zone and then the parking area behind the House office building for transportation to the site.
Roll call confirmed the attendance of Vice Chair Motana; Ranking Member Dunl Dunkley; and Representatives Albert, Alvarez, Barnaby, Enaroche, Henson, Mayfield, Mooney, Placencia, Salzman and Weinberger. Representatives Bartleman and Black were excused. No committee votes, motions, or substantive policy discussions were recorded in the transcript before the group departed.
The meeting record shows only the convening actions and logistical directions for the site visit; no agenda items, ordinances, resolutions or budget measures were discussed or decided in the portion of the transcript provided.
