She said the idea has been discussed at her church and that most people she talked to oppose renaming the community; she also said some people suggested possible revenue uses but that the broader sentiment was negative.
Fawn told the court she had not seen any outreach from PepsiCo to the county and that local school board members she contacted were opposed. She did not request any formal county action during her comment. The court did not take any immediate action on the petition during the meeting.
