New nonprofit Collaborative Artist Network launches, announces juried show and monthly meetings

"I'm now the happy president of a new non profit here in Las Vegas," Lightning Yumeku said. Yumeku said the organization will hold its next general meeting on Feb. 27 and monthly thereafter, and that a juried art event is planned for July at Tivoli Village.
Yumeku offered to provide website and contact information to staff for distribution to commissioners and attendees. The speaker framed the organization’s goals as community-focused, citing workshops, juried events and collaboration with other arts groups in the city.
No commission action was taken on the public comment.
