The board voted to restrict the property to four chickens, require maintenance of a coop that meets city standards, and to prohibit roosters. The vote was unanimous among members present.
Staff said the complaint came through the city's 311 system; the petitioner provided that the birds are in a coop and that she planned to comply with the board’s direction. The board recorded the condition and reminded the petitioner the approval is subject to the city's coop requirements and that failure to comply could prompt enforcement action.
