Business-office staff described a months‑long review that identified the district had previously filed preliminary reimbursement rates and needed to submit final paperwork. The PlanCon Part J filing converts temporary rates to permanent rates; staff said the PDE will calculate any reconciliation payment and notify the district, but the district does not yet know the dollar amount.
"All of this does is it converts those temporary rates to permanent rates, and they're very marginal differences," a finance presenter said. The board recorded five votes to move the item forward; staff said they will update the board when the reconciliation payment is calculated and received.
