Committee invited to on-site tour as sewer district plans major Lower Lake dam work

The Friends of Lower Lake, which Barber said has been doing stewardship work at the site for eight years, will offer hour-long walking tours from Lovers Lane on Brook Road so elected officials and staff can see proposed changes and hear engineers’ and stewards’ perspectives. “What the sewer district is talking about is the concrete. It's all about the concrete and the walls and the volume of water,” Barber said, adding the Friends will highlight the site’s human and natural history.
