Manteno trustees approve mutual-aid agreement, leases and bills; appoint John Geske FOIA designee

The resolution was placed on the consent agenda and approved by roll call as part of the consent package.
The board approved two routine lease renewals: one between the Village of Manteno and the Manteno Youth Soccer League, and one between the Village and the Manteno Youth Baseball/Softball League. Trustees said the leases are the usual annual updates of dates and contain no substantive changes.
Finance chair presented bills for payment totaling $115,746.01 and said no Tax Increment Financing (TIF) bills were included and that no bills were authorized between board cycles. The bills passed as part of the consent agenda.

The board moved to appoint John Geske to serve as the FOIA officer and OMA designee effective following Darla’s retirement March 7.
