At the opening of the meeting the Quincy Planning Board approved the minutes of its January 15, 2025 meeting by voice vote after a motion and second. Later in the agenda, the board endorsed the Planning Department’s written recommendation to confirm the board’s prior approval for the project at 15152 and 156 Quincy Street and voted that endorsement onto the record.
The board also acted on three separate public hearings by approving continuances to April 16, 2025 so applicants can supply additional materials:
- Walston Evangelical Lutheran Church, 552 Hancock Street / 8 Ellington Road (Case 2025‑O2): public hearing continued to April 16; board requested updated traffic study, signed off‑site parking agreements and final stormwater and lighting plans.
- 81 Faxon Park Road Realty Trust, 42 Lyon Street (Case 2025‑O3): public hearing continued to April 16; board requested retaining‑wall drawings, stormwater calculations and a landscaping plan after neighbors raised height, drainage and visual impact concerns.
