District testing plan updated to reflect state language; item placed on consent

The Policy Review Committee reviewed Policy 6.14, the district testing plan and procedures, and accepted a single legal-reference change replacing the phrase "World's Best Workforce" with the state's "college and career achievement" terminology. Amina Aftedal, director of curriculum, instruction and assessment, said the change is the only update in the assessment program policy.

Committee members did not raise questions about the change. Staff indicated this item will be placed on the consent agenda for board consideration rather than requiring extended committee discussion.
