The Walton County Technical Review Committee on Feb. 19 continued a minor plat application to plat six townhomes at 393 South Platte (west side of 393 South) to the March 19 TRC meeting so the applicant can address outstanding reviewer comments.
Tim Brown, the reviewer presenting the item, said the application proposes six townhomes on 0.64 acres with future land-use designations of mixed use/residential and a zoning classification of small neighborhood and neighborhood infill. Brown said survey and planning reviewers identified multiple comments that require changes to the plat; engineering comments were added to the record shortly before the meeting. "Survey has quite a number of, I would say, financial comments. [Planning] has a little more, serious comments, but she has some labeling comments as well," Brown said, adding that some comments will change information on the plat and therefore should be resolved before the county commission sees the preliminary plat.
Philip Santora of North Star Engineering, representing applicant James Adams, said the applicant had not yet reviewed the uploaded comments but will do so and address them. "We have not received any [comments] except for utilities asking us to change the name to miss Melissa Pitcher," Santora said. Santora told the committee that the applicant has prepared covenants, conditions and restrictions and that the items were completed by James Adams, though he was not certain they had been uploaded to the portal.
After discussion the committee voted to continue the application to the March 19 TRC meeting to allow the applicant time to review and address reviewer comments. No members of the public spoke on this item at the meeting.
