Coral Springs recognizes local service members and families in Hometown Heroes ceremony

City representatives noted five other honorees who were unable to attend: Jeffrey Moore (U.S. Air Force), Octavio Blanco Jr. (U.S. Air Force), Arthur Casey (U.S. Navy), Michael Cabrera (U.S. Army) and Babelson Durelian (U.S. Army).
The final honoree acknowledged in the segment was Jacob Slackower, currently serving in the U.S. military at Pearl Harbor; his family spoke briefly about his enlistment and the city presented a poster for photographs.
