Planning staff summarized the application and recommended approval, saying the project meets the county’s zoning requirements for communications towers and would expand wireless coverage in the northwest part of Grayson County. "For the purpose of public necessity, convenience, general welfare, public safety and health, and good zoning practice, I recommend approval of the special use permit application," planning staff said in their recommendation to the commission.
