The board approved two utility permits: Columbia Gas to install a new 1-inch service on Lucas Perrysville Road, and American Electric Power (AEP) to replace three poles to allow clearance for new fiber on Hazel Brush Road. Commissioners also approved an employee transfer requested by Lori Betson: Sierra Belen will be transferred from an Eligibility Referral Specialist 2 position to a Unit Worker 2 position with a new pay rate of $17.36 per hour, effective Feb. 27, 2025.
Wastewater staff presented a one-year proactive maintenance and disaster-recovery agreement; staff noted the vendor proposed a 15% price increase compared with the previous term. The board approved the one-year agreement and staff indicated they will solicit quotes and review options for the next term.
