Medina County commissioners approve series of routine resolutions, contracts and reappointments

Medina County commissioners on a regularly scheduled meeting voted unanimously to approve multiple routine resolutions and two service agreements, including a contract for jail legal services and a media services agreement for televised meetings.
The actions approved at the meeting included awarding work for a bridge replacement on Medina Lane Road (Bridge No. 18), three sanitary-department resolutions (an escrow release, the purchase of a pickup, and a change order), personnel changes across several departments, disposal of excess county property, temporary appropriation adjustments before finalizing the budget, and weekly county bills totaling $1,962,434.27.
The commissioners also approved an agreement for legal services for inmates at the Medina County Jail with attorney Candace Brown at $75 per hour, not to exceed $14,062.50 for calendar year 2025, and a one-year auto-renewing agreement with Medina TV for production and broadcasting of commissioner meetings at $67 per hour. Richard Nelson's request to reappoint David Demigall to a five-year term on the Building Appeals Board was approved.
All roll-call votes recorded Commissioners Sweatick, Hambley and Harrison voting "Yes" on the recorded motions.
