Tabitha’s Way reports serving 14,418 local residents in 2024; plans ribbon cutting March 27

Wendy Osborne of Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry updated the Spanish Fork City Council on Feb. 18 and invited city leaders and residents to a ribbon cutting for the pantry’s new location.
“Tabitha’s Way last year provided food assistance to 4,651 households from Spanish Fork, which equaled 14,418 citizens in our community,” said Wendy Osborne, who identified herself as representing Tabitha’s Way. The pantry is now located at 50 East 100 North in Spanish Fork; Osborne said the organization will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on March 27 and asked city officials and residents to RSVP.
Osborne also announced participation in the statewide Feed Utah food drive on March 15 and said Tabitha’s Way will serve as a drop-off location at Macy’s in Spanish Fork and at additional Macy’s locations in Santaquin. She told the council the pantry receives many donations during the holidays but often sees lower donation levels in spring and summer; she asked residents to continue donating to meet summer demand.
City staff and council members thanked Tabitha’s Way for its work. Council members noted that some city employees donate part of their paychecks to Tabitha’s Way, and the mayor and council praised the pantry’s 15 years of service to the community.
