The division also grew the community Wings and Wheels event and refined internal policies and procedures.
City staff and the council noted that part-time staff could not attend the meeting but were represented by Christian Davis, who accepted the award on their behalf.
Next steps: Pierce and Davis said the airport team is pursuing additional funding for taxiway Bravo to accelerate construction. Staff emphasized that funding is not yet secured and that work is in early funding and planning phases.
