Student leaders press board on attendance, phones and transportation; principals describe campus‑level responses

Trustees heard site presentations on maintenance and safety priorities (security cameras, use of district apps), and a principal described persistent facility issues at Colfax — nonworking bells, intercom problems and water damage in older parts of the campus — and said staff and the board are discussing repairs and prioritization.
