Notable items approved on the consent agenda included: a resolution authorizing refund of tax overpayments (Resolution 25‑168, not to exceed $8,407); a refund of engineering escrow funds for Block 4407 Lot 50 (Resolution 25‑170, not to exceed $4,375); a resolution encouraging publication of legal notices on official government websites (Resolution 25‑173); appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustment (Resolution 25‑174); and a memorandum of understanding with Bergen County (Resolution 25‑175).
The council also awarded several professional contracts and municipal services: Petmire Engineering PC was authorized for design and construction phases for the NJDOT 2025 grant for Coolidge Avenue, not to exceed $46,500 (Resolution 25‑177); Acacia Financial Group Inc. was awarded municipal advisor and continuing disclosure services (Resolution 25‑171); and Community Grants Planning and Housing LLC was awarded administrative agent services related to affordable housing (Resolution 25‑172). The council approved cancellation of tax liability and refund for a U.S. veterans’ permanent disability exemption affecting Block 4303 Lot 3, and authorized refund to Loretta LLC in an amount not to exceed $3,215 (Resolution 205‑1609 as recorded).
Council members removed three resolutions from the consent list for separate consideration earlier in the meeting (Resolutions 25‑169, 25‑171, 25‑172); after discussion each was addressed and returned to the consent vote. All consent agenda items recorded in the minutes were approved by roll call.
