The committee reviewed a series of executive reappointments and one appointment and moved them forward to the council agenda for formal consideration.
County staff presented reappointment recommendations for the Children, Youth and Families Advisory Board, the Conservation District Board and the Personnel Appeals Board, and a recommendation to appoint a member to the Industrial Development Authority. The committee recorded motions to “move forward” multiple times, referring those items to the upcoming council meeting.
The reappointments presented were: Rosemary Cocker, recommended for a two-year term on the Children, Youth and Families Advisory Board beginning 03/23/2025 and ending 03/22/2027; Teresa Terry Maynard, recommended for a two-year term on the same board with identical dates; and Terry A. Thomas, also recommended for a two-year term beginning 03/23/2025 and ending 03/22/2027. The conservation district reappointment was Brian D. Fulmer, nominated by the Northampton-Monroe Farm Bureau for a four-year term beginning 02/01/2025 and ending 12/31/2029.
The committee also received a recommendation to appoint Jack R. Weiner to the Industrial Development Authority for a five-year term beginning 03/21/2025 and ending 03/17/2030. Personnel Appeals Board reappointments presented were Joseph Capizola (two-year term beginning 02/21/2025 and ending 02/03/2027), Scott Moser (two-year term beginning 02/21/2025 and ending 02/03/2027) and Kathleen Wedge (two-year term beginning 02/21/2025 and ending 02/03/2027).
Committee members repeatedly moved the slate forward; no roll-call vote or vote tally was recorded on the transcript. The items will appear on the council agenda for formal action at a later meeting.
