Commissioners approve school budget amendments; county leaders say no new money is being added

Commissioner Graham asked whether the changes affected the maintenance-of-effort requirement; county staff replied there was no change to the maintenance-of-effort.
After brief questions, the commission approved the resolution by roll call. The resolution text included detailed line items and dollar amounts; commissioners and staff emphasized the action does not increase the county's contribution to schools but aligns the county budget with the school system's changes.
