By motion the Committee limited non‑retail micro and mezzo cultivation to industrial zones I‑1 and I‑2 and voted to instruct staff to pursue rezoning or an overlay to make a city‑owned eastern corridor along Highway 53/Second Avenue (the B‑2 corridor) available for appropriate retail locations. Councilors agreed to return the revised ordinance for introduction and first reading at the next council meeting so the city can meet the state‑licensing timetable.
