Area Plan Commission issues recommendations on zoning, amendments and extensions; several items move to councils

The Area Plan Commission of Tippecanoe County on Feb. 19 voted on a slate of zoning cases, ordinance amendments and a subdivision extension request, forwarding most items with positive recommendations to the appropriate city or county council and tabling or rehearing others.

The commission recommended approval of changes ranging from a primary-approval extension for a subdivision to zoning map changes and zoning-code amendments. Most votes were advisory recommendations that will be considered by city or county legislative bodies.
