Board approves senior last day, June makeup days and auditor hire; motions passed unanimously

Senior schedule: The superintendent recommended and the board approved May 28, 2025 as the last day for seniors, with graduation to be held on May 31, 2025. Makeup days for 2024–25: The superintendent recommended and the board approved designating Monday, June 9; Tuesday, June 10; and Wednesday, June 11, 2025 as makeup instructional days to compensate for instructional time lost to inclement weather. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote (all in favor, none opposed).

Fiscal audit firm: Finance staff recommended retaining Rodehaver (transcript spelling variants: Rode Heaver/Rod Aver/Rodehiever) and Associates (presented in materials as the incumbent auditor) for the fiscal year 2024–25 audit. The board approved retaining the firm at the fee listed in the audit memo ($77,500). The motion passed by voice vote (all in favor, none opposed).
