Milton council votes to place nonbinding fireworks advisory on November ballot

The ballot measure would ask voters whether to prohibit the sale, purchase and use of fireworks in the city. A mayoral-council motion to place the advisory measure on the November ballot was made by Council member White and seconded by Council member Peretti; the motion carried with five votes in favor and one opposed.
