Pine View honors longtime volunteer Victor Kodish

Victor Kodish, a volunteer at Pine View Middle School who began teaching at the school in 1979, was honored in a brief recognition where staff praised his decades of service. Kodish told the gathering he has coached football, coached basketball for about 20 years, coached track for "probably 25 or 30 years," and most recently taught civics for several years. A school staff member who introduced the recognition said Kodish "is just a a great person that will go anywhere and do anything that you need for anyone in the building. We are Panther proud, mister Kodish. You make us so proud, and we are so glad to see you get such a nice honor." The staff member later added, "And nobody deserves it more than you, so congratulations."
Kodish closed his remarks by saying he was "glad I can be of some help to some people." The remarks comprised a short public acknowledgement of his long service to the school community.
