County Services committee approves human services agreements, election grants and appointments

Committee members voted to accept the county's Integrated County Plan for Child and Family Services and to authorize a series of agreements between the Greene County Department of Human Services (Aging) and outside providers and grant programs, including agreements involving Columbia County Community Healthcare Consortium, Coordinated Care Services, the Corporation for National and Community Service, Nicole Ginnman (MSRDCDN) and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) administered through NYSOFA. Committee discussion noted the county currently operates its New York Connects line in-house and that some calls are currently routed through Columbia County; the agreement with Columbia County’s consortium is intended to streamline service and incorporate grant funding allocated by the state.
The committee reappointed members to the Board of Electrical Examiners and approved three budget amendments tied to Board of Elections grants: an FY24–25 state grants amendment, a cybersecurity remediation grant amendment and a Technology Innovation and Election Resource Grant Program amendment.
