Council members heard that the building at 234 Bullard Parkway, long associated with the Thomasino family, has been sold and will become a pediatric practice owned by two local clinicians.
Cheryl Thomasino, the longtime owner, told the council the building was listed and sold at a price she said matched an earlier asking figure; she thanked the city and noted the sale was finalized recently. New owners Juliana Grande and Dr. Julia Barriga said they bought the property to expand an existing pediatric practice they have operated nearby for 25 years and plan an interior renovation to create 18 exam rooms. Juliana Grande said the buyers are proceeding with architectural design and permit requests.
Council members welcomed the new practice and encouraged the owners to host an open house once renovations finish. No council action was required on the sale itself, which the speakers presented as a private real-estate transaction.
