The board then took up the revised version of Item 4, a motion to approve the revised Item 4 was made and seconded, and that motion also passed unanimously.
During member comments, one board member praised recent openings on Davie Road and encouraged residents and staff to try them. "Some of the restaurants that are opening up on Davie Road have been really good, and I want the residents to know it's a great place to go have some lunch or dinner, or breakfast," the board member said. The same speaker thanked staff members Cheryl and Debbie for their work downtown, saying their efforts appear to be strengthening relationships with local businesses.
Another member noted positive resident feedback about flags and preparations for the Orange Blossom event. The meeting concluded without additional business and was adjourned.
