PATH shelter moves into new space; county reports successful free-dumpster weekend

Solid Waste Manager Perrell reported that a free dumpster weekend at county transfer stations, funded through an NMDOT program grant, drew heavy usage and appeared successful. The county placed $8,000 of program funds to support the initiative and plans another event for Earth Day pending remaining program funding; staff will provide completion statistics and consider a third collection day if resources allow.
No formal action was required; commissioners thanked PATH staff and solid waste staff for the programming and outreach.
