Committee approves closure of Sheriff's Office petty cash account

Riley, fiscal supervisor for the Sheriff’s Office, said the account — previously used for asset-forfeiture buy money — had not been accessed in about six years and staff were working with M&T Bank to close and reconcile the account.
Sheriff Jim Quattrone and committee members agreed the closure would "clean things up" administratively. The committee voted in favor; the motion carried.
