Klein said EquiSpace’s model creates operational efficiencies, reduces risk of fraud or administrative error, and strengthens small organizations’ ability to deliver services.
Senators who spoke in support cited examples of local nonprofits that use EquiSpace and said shared services can improve accountability and effectiveness. Fiscal staff said the bill proposes $250,000 in one‑time funding for fiscal year 2026. The committee laid the bill over for possible inclusion.
