Erica Smith Erickson (identified herself in the meeting) explained the amendment’s two elements—an extension to the end of March and a reallocation of funds between relocation assistance and mitigation costs. Committee members asked no substantive follow-up questions. A motion to place the amendment on the Feb. 18 consent calendar was moved, seconded and recorded as passing unanimously.
The committee’s recommendation sends the amendment to the council consent calendar for final action. The staff presentation did not specify exact reallocation line items or amounts beyond the previously approved $275,000 total.
