An independent auditor told the Robinson City Council on March 3 that the city’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2024 received an unmodified opinion, and council members accepted the city’s quarterly investment report for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2024 and approved a resolution to continue participation with the Atmos steering committee.
John Manning, representing the auditing firm presenting the report, said the auditors were able to “offer an unmodified opinion” on the city’s financial statements and described that result as the top of the four possible opinions auditors can give.
