North College Hill City Council voted Monday to hold a special council meeting on Monday, Feb. 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to meet with the Planning Commission. Council voted 7-0 to schedule the special meeting; Budget and Finance indicated it may meet separately to follow.
Council also voted unanimously to direct city administration to create a shared drive for agendas, meeting minutes and other council documents so all members can access materials in a central location. Miss Underwood moved the directive; Miss Gaston seconded and the motion passed 7-0.
Ahead of the special meeting scheduling, members clarified timing so that Planning Commission time would run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with Budget and Finance to consider its own scheduling. Several members noted schedule constraints and asked for the meeting to start at 6:30 to accommodate participants. Council additionally confirmed that members could decline paper door notices for special meetings if they preferred.
The administration was tasked with creating the folder structure and publishing notices for the Planning Commission session. Councilmembers encouraged the Planning Commission to prioritize its recommendation list to maximize the use of the hour-long joint session.
