The Planning Commission recommended approval 7‑0 on Jan. 7, and petitioners Eric and Ashley Brown were present at the hearing. Supervisor Tony Bowman moved to approve the rezoning; Supervisor Eddie Hite seconded. The board voted 7‑0 to adopt the change.
