County engineer seeks approval of interlocal maintenance agreements with Winlock and Morton

Lewis County Engineer Jeff Soderquist told the Board of Lewis County Commissioners on Feb. 18 that Resolution 25-052 authorizes interlocal agreements with the cities of Winlock and Morton to allow county crews to perform maintenance work on behalf of those cities and be reimbursed.
"These are agreements that we sign about every 5 years to be able to perform maintenance work on their behalf and get reimbursed," Soderquist said. He said the agreements include term limits and provisions that set limits on the amount of work the county may authorize under the agreements.
Commissioners approved Resolution 25-052 as part of the grouped deliberation vote on resolutions 25-051 through 25-053; the omnibus motion passed by voice vote, 3-0. No amendments or funding changes were discussed during the meeting record.
