The Speedway Redevelopment Commission on Feb. 18 approved $388,102.75 in claims and expenses by a 4-0 voice vote.
Town Manager Grant Kleinhens told the commission the total claims list was $388,102.75 and highlighted two items: a returned deficiency payment to Schenell because the party had paid early, and an early shortage payment to US Bank required because Marion County delayed property tax distributions. Kleinhens said the commission authorized making the shortage payment early and will reimburse the commission’s account when the town receives the tax dollars from Marion County.
A motion to approve the claims “as submitted” was made and seconded and passed on a recorded outcome of “passes 4 0.” The clerk did not record individual roll-call votes during the voice vote. The motion and vote completed the consent portion of the meeting agenda.
No additional conditions or amendments to the claims list were recorded during the meeting.
