Connell said a call‑center firm, Triple Impact Connections, leased roughly 13,500 square feet in the business park (a plug‑and‑play call‑center shell) and planned to ramp operations with about 42 employees initially.
Staff briefed council on larger industrial projects, including ongoing construction by MGC Pure Chemicals, a project cited as one of the largest investments in the city’s history (Connell referenced an approximately $150 million investment and noted construction timing had slipped several weeks into late summer). Connell also described the Wolf Technology Park, a 95‑acre site at Stagecoach and Texas Highway 195 where the city is advancing infrastructure design and marketing to potential clients.
KEDC told council the organization had submitted 13 new active projects and was tracking about 40 leads in the pipeline. Connell said the group attends trade shows and participates with Team Texas as part of statewide business recruitment efforts.
Council members thanked KEDC for the update; no formal council action was required.
