Board approves traffic-control plan for Madison–Hanover Connector Trail Phase 1

The Board of Public Works and Safety approved a traffic-control plan to guide construction on Phase 1 of the Madison–Hanover Connector Trail. The plan, submitted by Temple and Temple Excavating and endorsed by city staff, authorizes three traffic-control methods to be used as needed during the project: temporary signalization, flagger-controlled work zones during working hours and lane-shift plans for phases that require a more permanent lane arrangement.
