The Albany County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 18 voted to leave the Taylor conditional-use application (CU-01-24) on the table and reschedule consideration to the second meeting in March after applicants reported health issues.
David, a county planner, said the Taylors were unable to attend the meeting because of health problems and had requested a continuance. Commissioners discussed outstanding concerns, including whether the property involved had active taps to a local water district and whether Centennial Water and Sewer District’s enforcement addressed alleged water-tapping issues.
One commissioner said past assurances from the applicants had not been followed by action and urged the board to require the Taylors to appear before the commission. Another commissioner supported moving the item to the second March meeting to allow the applicants time to recover and resolve outstanding questions.
A motion to continue the Taylor conditional-use application to Albany County’s second meeting in March carried on a voice vote with affirmative responses recorded.
